CORE PRIVACY HIGHLIGHTS
- 100% On-Device AI Vision: Camera frames are processed exclusively in volatile RAM and are never recorded, saved, or uploaded to any server.
- Foreground-Only GPS: Location is only tracked during active outdoor runs to measure distance and pace.
- Health Connect Compliant: Health data is strictly used for workout syncing and never shared or sold for advertising or marketing.
- Zero Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or broker your personal information to third parties.
1. Camera Permission & On-Device AI Pose Detection
System Levelling requests access to your mobile device's camera to enable hands-free automatic repetition counting and form quality validation for calisthenics exercises (such as Push-ups, Squats, and Sit-ups).
How Your Camera Data Is Processed:
- 100% On-Device Neural Processing: Video frames are analyzed in real time directly on your device's Neural Processing Unit (NPU) or GPU via on-device computer vision models.
- Zero Storage or Recording: Video frames, photographs, or raw camera feeds are never stored in non-volatile flash storage or local galleries.
- Zero Transmission: No video streams, images, or biometric visual representations are ever transmitted over the network or uploaded to our servers, cloud providers, or any third party.
- Immediate Disposal: Each video frame is processed in volatile device memory (RAM) for keypoint detection and immediately discarded within milliseconds.
2. GPS Location Tracking
When you engage in outdoor running workouts (such as the 10km daily run objective or custom distance quests), System Levelling requests access to high-accuracy GPS location services.
Location Data Usage & Scope:
- Workout Metrics: GPS is used to calculate precise distance traveled, running pace, elevation changes, and route mapping.
- Anti-Cheat Verification: Location data is cross-referenced with your device's motion sensors to confirm authentic human walking/running speeds and reject non-pedestrian speed anomalies (such as automobiles or motorized vehicles).
- Foreground-Only Operation: Location tracking only activates when you initiate an active outdoor run session. Tracking ceases immediately when you pause, finish, or cancel the workout.
- No Location Brokering: Your geographical location is never sold, leased, or shared with third-party advertising networks or data aggregators.
3. Device Motion Sensors & Hardware Telemetry
The App accesses onboard hardware motion sensors, including the accelerometer, gyroscope, and hardware step counter/pedometer.
- Cadence Measurement: Measures steps per minute (SPM) during outdoor and treadmill running to compute Agility (AGI) attribute XP.
- Motion Stability: Assists in orienting device position when propped up for AI computer vision exercise tracking.
- Haptic Feedback: Triggers precise vibration alerts upon rep completion and level-up milestones.
4. Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics
We integrate Google Firebase services (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) to monitor application stability, troubleshoot technical bugs, and analyze aggregated feature engagement.
Information Collected via Firebase:
- App Diagnostics: Crash logs, stack traces, and system failure events to quickly deploy software fixes.
- Device Attributes: Device model, operating system version, screen resolution, and language settings.
- Anonymous Usage Statistics: Non-personally identifiable events, such as quest completion counts and feature interaction frequencies.
- No Sensitive Personal Data: No camera frames, location traces, or health records are transmitted to Firebase.
5. Health Connect & Apple Health Integration
System Levelling optionally integrates with Google Health Connect (on Android) and Apple HealthKit (on iOS) to provide unified fitness tracking.
Google Health Connect & Apple Health Policy Compliance:
- Read Permissions: We request read access to steps, distance, active calories, and exercise sessions to sync your real-world daily activity with your Hunter RPG profile.
- Write Permissions: We request write access to record completed workouts (e.g., Push-ups, Squats, Sit-ups, Runs) back into Health Connect / HealthKit for comprehensive activity logs.
- Prohibition on Commercial Advertising: We explicitly warrant that health data accessed via Health Connect or HealthKit is NEVER used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or monetization purposes.
- No Data Selling: Health data is strictly prohibited from being sold, rented, or transferred to third-party data brokers, insurers, or advertising platforms under any circumstances.
- Granular User Control: You may grant, deny, or revoke access to specific health permissions at any time through your Android Health Connect settings or iOS Apple Health settings.
6. Data Retention & Your Deletion Rights
We retain your account profile and RPG progression data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the App's core services.
Under global privacy regulations (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Google Play Store Developer Guidelines), you retain the absolute right to request an export of your data or immediate and permanent account deletion.
